Test administration and delivery requirements

The minimum administration and delivery requirements of the EALTS 1 are as follows:

Test Administration

Facilities, resources and personnel

An EALTS Administrator Workstation with pc with broadband connection meeting certain minimum ICT specifications.

The minimum of one trained and certified EALTS Test Centre Administrator.

EALT Test of Speaking

An interview room: a testing location offering appropriate comfort, privacy and quiet including an interview room capable of accommodating the interview participants in appropriate comfort with minimum disturbance.

An audio player (preferably digital – CD or .mp3)

An audio recorder (preferably with capacity to record in .mp3 format)

A minimum of two trained and certified EALT examiners (an interlocutor and an assessor)

EALT Test of Listening

An ICT facility: A testing location offering appropriate comfort, privacy and quiet with the minimum of a single pc terminal with broadband connection meeting certain minimum ICT specifications.

The minimum of a single PC with broadband connection equipped with headphones (preferably noise reducing or noise cancelling).

A minimum of one EALTS Test Administrator/Invigilator 2

ICAO ELSA

An interview room: a testing location offering appropriate comfort, privacy and quiet including an interview room capable of accommodating the interview participants in appropriate comfort with minimum disturbance for use in the event of a candidate undertaking supplementary ICAO ELSA tasks.

An audio player (preferably digital – CD or .mp3)

An audio recorder (preferably with capacity to record in .mp3 format)

A minimum of two trained and certified ICAO ELSA evaluators (an interlocutor and an assessor)
